Professor Dr. Kemal Polat, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, Turkey

Kemal Polat received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Selçuk University, Konya, Turkey, in 2002, 2004, and 2008, respectively, all in electrical and electronics engineering.,From 2015 to 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA. In his Postdoctoral work, he designed mathematical modeling of memory performance by performing various experiments on visual memory. Since September 2011, he has been a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, Bolu, Turkey. He has authored or coauthored 142 articles in SCI journals and 72 in international conferences. His Google H-index is 41. His current research interests include biomedical signal classification, control systems, electronics, statistical signal processing, visual memory, neuroscience, brain–computer interface, photoplethysmography signal, medical electronics, digital signal processing, pattern recognition, and classification.
